            Kentico is proud to present the Canadian Red Cross website with Kentico Site of the Year 2013 as well as the Best Nonprofit Website.
            The Canadian Red Cross is part of an international humanitarian network dedicated to helping people in need across the globe. Their new corporate website was a team effort; the necessities of every program, service and region were taken into account, which is reflected in the new design, content, and functionality. The website’s primary objectives were to increase donations, increase course/program registration, recruit volunteers, enhance user experience, provide easier access to current information and personify the Canadian Red Cross’ new branding strategy. Built on Kentico CMS v7, the key features of this site include a custom media library search, custom 301 redirect tool integrated within Kentico’s UI, and scheduled tasks that pull stories in from external news feeds.

            Rockfish Interactive is a digital innovation partner for some of the world’s largest brands. They leverage their best-in-class marketing and technology teams to launch great sites. Leveraging Kentico, this site was launched with a responsive design to engage users across all devices. The content was updated to reflect the growing agency and its new capabilities. Kentico was chosen because of its flexible platform that allows simple content management for the marketing team. The site achieved great results, including increased number of visitors and increased time spent on site.

            Adventure on the Water‘s website was developed with the purpose of supporting Johnson Outdoor Watercraft brands. The challenge was to develop a community-based system in which stakeholders from all over the world could enter the site and share their Adventure on the Water experiences using Johnson Outdoor Watercraft‘s products. The website specifically leverages membership management, content management, social networking, and security features of Kentico. There have been exponential increases in customer engagement with the website reported in, both, the social media and website traffic spheres.

            Milwaukee Tools were seeking a high performance, easy- to- use CMS with a resulting website that was truly demonstrative of their quality image and company ethos. The introduction of Kentico EMS enabled TTI to use the website not just as a brochure or sales tool, but as a mechanism that actually engaged with customers proactively and selectively; something which other CMS solutions couldn’t offer. Statistically speaking, the website‘s new look had a positive impact on the business: 344% increase in visits, 363% increase in page views and 5% increase in time spent on-site!

            The goal of this website was to design a light, modern e-shop that sells hats for active young people. The design approach was Mobile--all interfering elements were removed and Bluesoft focused only on presentation of the product, considerably the most important aspect for an e-shop. There are not many differences between mobile and desktop versions. Positive vibes are emitted thanks to full screen image photos. Looking at front-end technologies, there are many jQuery scripts on the websites, which achieved full screen solution and also several functional and graphical effects.

            The website was implemented with the purpose of unifying Florida Southern College‘s web experience with consistent design and branding. They also wanted to provide a solid foundation for future expansion. After reviewing thousands of media assets, FSC ended up migrating approximately 700 pages of content to the new Kentico CMS 7 infrastructure. FSC leveraged templates for consistent layouts across the site. The new website sports a significantly improved look and feel as well as a dramatically improved ability to respond to changes. They currently employ 6,000 people, and run 27 facilities in 16 markets on four continents, all distributing to more than 150 countries. MMT Digital redeveloped the global Bacardi website as part of the Bacardi Untameable Since 1862 campaign, thereby repositioning the BACARDI brand. The rebuild was designed to inspire and capture the attention of their target audience – communicating their rich heritage and showcasing their suite of products. The newly designed website introduced responsive design and implementation of Kentico widgets.

            As of 2012 year-end, United Heritage Credit Union had $719 million in assets, over 53,400 members and 13 branches. Built on Kentico CMS v7, the primary goals of the new website were to increase new member acquisition, enhance member experience, boost traffic/engagement and increase loan applications. With the new mobile responsive, visually appealing design, they captured the attention of new visitors and members and exceeded customer expectations through a premium mobile experience. Finally, the multi-step online form helped to minimize lost conversions on new memberships and loan applications.

            The new Boston Redevelopment Authority homepage features an interactive map of Boston’s neighborhoods that users can click on to access “At a Glance” landing pages with area specific development news and information. The new website empowers users with direct access to documents and information that previously required a phone call or a trip to the BRA’s offices. Furthermore, Boston Interactive created an online Document Center and Calendar sections that maximize the transparency of the organization through quick access to relevant content and the ability to refine results through dynamic filtering options.

            Banfield Pet Hospital is a well-established petcare brand with more than 830 locations across the U.S. Rockfish created a custom template system for Banfield Pet Hospital that allowed maximum flexibility and optimization between devices, while maintaining responsive design principles. The front end of the website was implemented in the CMS for maximized editing capability, and built-in flexibility upon handoff. Rockfish’s development team heavily utilized the Kentico import function; they also leveraged custom MVC-based web parts, and custom table functionality from Kentico, while blending Kentico-based API calls with Banfield service layer calls.

            After recently becoming an autonomous corporation, Destination BC required a renewal of their consumer site promoting British Columbia as a premiere travel destination to both local and international consumers. With a multitude of destinations, accommodation and activities to promote across many tourism partners, Destination BC turned to FCV to architect and deliver a revamped website based on some preliminary wireframes and visuals put together by their previous advertising agency. This website was inherited from another vendor who had already implemented the website in Kentico CMS. They maintained and redesigned it to meet Destination BC’s new business requirements.

Distinction wanted to create a website that would capture the imagination of the Gruffalo's biggest fans: children. The website contains an interactive 'deep dark woods' area, which offers games for children to really enjoy the site. Kentico EMS provides vital reporting on usage and visitor habits to help us continually improve and enhance the experience. Given the amazing graphics used on the site, not to mention its high volume of visitors, website performance optimization was an essential part of this project.

            The Hyundai Motor Company started in 1991 in Germany with four models. Hyundai is based in Seoul, South Korea, and presently is one of the worlds top five automotive manufacturers. The Diamond Dogs redesigned Hyundai‘s entire site following the new corporate identity guidelines and integrated an existing custom-built product database with ease. The goal was to create a service-oriented customer dialogue. Easy content management, fast reaction times and a scalable solution were also necessary. Kentico provides them with a cost effective, easily implementable and flexible CMS, which were crucial to this project.

            PPG, the world’s leading coatings and specialty Product Company, wanted to create efficiency and uniformity in all of its online channels. They decided to migrate all of the sigma websites of Northern Europe (NL, B, DE, DK and SE) from Sitecore over to Kentico EMS. The separate websites have been combined into one multi target group website, and the current websites now use a mobile lay-out for part of the content.             The Kentico "Site of the Year" contest seeks out the best Kentico CMS/EMS web site implementations. It is a way to recognize talented individual and team efforts in web site development and generate internet marketing exposure for the award-winning web sites.

            How to Participate?

            • In December, you can register your Kentico CMS/EMS website that has been launched this year. There are 13 industry categories and 6 special categories you can choose from
            • In January, Kentico selects 3 finalist for each category and let the visitors vote for the winners on-line.
            • In March, the winners of each category are announced.

            There will also be one global winner - Kentico Site of the Year which will be the site that we choose based on the voting and on the special categories.

            Benefits for Participants

            • The finalists and winners will be entitled to use the "Kentico Site of the Year Winner/Finalist" logo.
            • They will receive a plaque, a certificate, prizes and points for the Partner Program (available to partners).
